Radamel Falcao, Monaco's new striker, said that he will stay at that club for a long time, because success will not come overnight.
"Monaco has a long-term project, and the management wants the club to be at a high level in European football. It won't happen in one season, so I will stay at the club for a long time," said Falcao.
The former member of Atlético de Madrid surprised many with his choice of club, as his name has long been associated with Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea.
However, the Colombian international said that he is attracted by the challenge in the south of France and believes that Monaco has a bright future.
"I am attracted by being a key part of this project... It will not be easy, because Monaco is not one of the most important clubs in Europe. I will accept the challenge and work to reach the best form for the World Cup," said Falcao.
