German expert Dieter Hecking will leave the position of coach of Nürnberg to take over Wolfsburg.
According to Wolfsburg's website, Hecking will be officially promoted in the coming days.
Hecking signed a contract with Wolfsburg until 2016.
He will replace Lorenz-Günter Kestner on the bench of the German Bundesliga club, who left the position on Thursday after the second term as interim coach of Wolfsburg.
Wolfsburg is currently in 15th place in the Bundesliga table with a point less than Nuremberg.
