The Derby of Sicily, which in the recent past looked more like a street war than a football spectacle, went to Palermo - the "Rosaneri" won 3:1 on their home field and at least escaped from the danger zone in the table for 24 hours.
Fabricio Mikoli gave his team the lead after 10 minutes, and then Josip Iličić took matters into his own hands - the Slovenian first easily beat Marijan Anduhar in the 49th, and then 11 minutes later he played with the entire defense and scored three big points to his team.
The final result was set by Franćesko Lodi, who scored from a free kick in the 70th minute. This is Palermo's first victory in the Sicilian derby since November 2010.
Tomorrow evening, the big derby between Milan and Juventus will be played, and according to information from Apennine, Mirko Vučinić will be the starter at "San Siro".
In Turin, Fiorentina is looking for its sixth victory in a row, but will enter the race with the "bulls" without Stevan Jovetić. Stefan Savić was announced from the first minute.
"Jovetic is fine, he's recovered, but I don't want to risk it yet," said Viola coach Vincenzo Montela.
