Football club Wolfsburg extended the cooperation with coach Felix Magat until June 2015, it was announced today on the website of the German club.
In 2009, Magat won the only German championship title in the club's history with Wolfsburg, after which he moved to Schalke.
He returned from Gelsenkirchen at the end of the 2010/2011 season to help Wolfsburg avoid relegation from the Bundesliga.
Wolfsburg finished last season in eighth place, thus missing out on the international stage.
