The junior youth national team of Montenegro defeated Switzerland with a minimum score of 1:0 in the second friendly match played in Niderhasli (on Tuesday, the two teams played to a 1:1 draw in Villa). The victory was brought by Marko Janković, who crowned Boljević's cross with a header in the 14th minute. Our team continued to attack even after the goal, and Hočko and Janković missed good opportunities at the end of the first half.
Even in the continuation, Aleksandar Miljenović's team had no luck and concentration in the end - in the 61st minute, Rmuš headed a shot past the post, while two minutes later, Hotčo came out alone in front of the opponent's goalkeeper, who managed to save the net. The Swiss tried to equalize with long balls and skipping the game, but our defense, led by goalkeeper Delibasic, neutralized the home team's attacks.
"I am extremely satisfied after two games in Switzerland. It is not easy to repeat good games and achieve two good results in a duel with an excellent selection such as Switzerland. The boys played really quality games in which they showed a fighting and technically good game, which in both meetings brought after several apparent chances.
This generation of football players showed in the duels with Switzerland that they can play equally with strong European selections. "Even though these are friendly matches, we achieved great success in Switzerland," said coach Miljenović.
For our selection, the following performed: Delibašić, Raspopović, Janković (Poček), Kopitović, Vujacić, Hočko, Draganić, Kalačević (Šljivančanin), Racković, Boljević (Jeknić), Lagator.
