The current champion found himself in a new problem - only a day after the footballers expressed their dissatisfaction due to outstanding debts (which was a silent strike, or a clear warning to the club's management), the players and the coaching staff had to finish yesterday's training at Jaz before time.
"People from a non-governmental organization came and asked us to leave the field. They were locals, I guess the owners of the land on which the fields are located, they insisted that we stop training, saying that they had a dispute with the Municipality of Budva. And in the end, we their insistence shortened the training a little," said Branislav Milačić, coach of Mogren.
The people of Budva are not in a problem just because of the difficult financial situation. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop in the coming days and whether the players of the current champion will have normal conditions to work at the training camp in Jaz.
The municipality of Budva has long been in a property dispute with families whose land on the Jaz was nationalized after World War II.
As for the debts, club president Boro Lazović promised the players yesterday that everything would be settled, after which they returned to normal training.
As we unofficially learn, most players are owed four salaries, and some five.
