Marek Hamsik clearly likes it in Naples and has no plans to leave anytime soon.
Namely, the Slovakian representative signed a new four-year contract with Napoli, according to which he will stay at that club until the summer of 2016.
In this way, the hopes of Chelsea, Manchester City and PSG to hire a footballer who has been playing brilliantly for the last two seasons both for the club and the national team have been dashed.
"Marek has just signed a contract until 2016 and I hope there will be no unrealistic demands for him to go," said Aurelio De Laurentis, Napoli's first man.
Hamsik himself expressed satisfaction with the extension of cooperation.
"My dream is to win trophies with Napoli. This season we are in the game on all fronts and it would be wonderful if we could make the fantastic fans happy with at least one trophy," said the 24-year-old Slovak.
Hamsik arrived in Napoli in 2007 from Brescia, and started his career in Slovan Bratislava.
He went through all the junior representative selections of Slovakia, and he has been in the best since 2007.
