Former player of Budućnosti and legend of Montenegrin football Dragan Vujović will assist Zoran Filipović in Atyrau, Kazakhstan.
The first coach of the national football team of Montenegro recently signed a one-year contract with the club from Kazakhstan, and today he will start preparations for the new season in Turkey.
Vujović is Filipović's long-time associate and friend, and they worked together in most clubs led by the former Red Star goal scorer.
Atirau finished last season in ninth place in the competition of 12 teams, so in the new year, led by the Montenegrin tandem, they will try to make a better result.
Filipović was also a candidate for the head coach of Kazakhstan, but in the end he still found engagement in club football.
After leaving the helm of the Montenegrin national team, Filipović led Romanian Celul and Golden Arrows from South Africa.
