Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan held a press conference today in the VIP lounge of the "Vicente Calderon" stadium to say goodbye to Atlético fans.
Forlan agreed to move to Inter, he will be in Milan already tonight for medical examinations, and unlike his recent teammate Sergio Aguero, he parted ways with the "colchoneros" fans.
"It's an honor to wear the Atlético shirt," Forlan began.
The president of the Madrid club Serezo also attended the conference.
"Thank you for everything. This stadium will always be your home," said the president.
Forlan was visibly moved by these words.
"I will always be a fan of Atlético. I spent four wonderful years here, the most beautiful years of my career".
