With the goal of the Chilean David Pizarro from the penalty in the 90th minute, Roma won in Lecce with 2:1, in the first game of the 28th round of Serie A. The penalty that decided the winner was hidden by Munari, as he played with his hand in his own penalty area after a shot by Boriel, who wanted to take the most severe penalty, but Pizarro showed who was the senior and decided that he should take the penalty anyway.
Roma took the lead with a goal by Mirko Vučinić in the 32nd minute. The captain of the Montenegrin national team was the best individual of the "Wolves" in the first half, and he crowned a good game with a great goal, after a solo action, when he sent the ball from the heart of the penalty area, diagonally from the right side, with his right foot into the lower right corner of the home team's goal. Vučinić did not celebrate his goal against the team where he made his Serie A debut, and from which he came to Roma. Vucinić was replaced by the Frenchman Menez in the 80th minute of the match.
Leće equalized with a goal by Đakomaci with a header in the 75th minute.
Roma recorded their 13th league win, which leaves them in the running for one of the Champions League spots. The Romans are sixth in the table with 46 points, one point less than Udinese and two behind Lazio in fourth place.
Lecce, on the other hand, was defeated for the 14th time this season, and is currently just three points outside the relegation zone.
