The Belgian football "classic" between Standard and Anderlecht in Liège was interrupted at the end of the half due to fan riots.
Supporters of Anderlecht threw in a large number of flares and other pyrotechnic devices, several times during the match, and the referee signaled the end at the moment when the safety of the Mexican goalkeeper Oća was threatened.
At the time of the break, Standard was leading 2:0.
Anderlecht fans are furious with the players because of a weak season in which the title was lost, and placement on the European stage is difficult to achieve.
