Ajax coach Erik ten Haag has extended his contract until 2022 after a great season, a double crown in the Netherlands and a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League, the famous club from Amsterdam announced today, reports Tanjug.
Officially the best coach of the Dutch championship already in his first season in Ajax, he made a "boom" on the Euro-scene, both with the game and the results, with victories in Madrid over Real (4:1) and over Juventus in Turin (2:1) in the knockout phase Champions League.
Ten Haag, who previously managed Utrecht, Bayern's second team and Go Ahed Eagles, rejected all offers and interest from Bayern to stay at Ajax.
