Podgorica soccer player Anđelko Jovanović was banned from playing ten games for unjustifiably leaving the preparations of the young national team of Montenegro, the FSCG Disciplinary Commission decided.
As we learn, Jovanović asked coach Miodrag Vukotić to release him from his duties in the national team, during the preparations for the match with the Faroe Islands, and he stated that he noticed during training that he was not in the best combination for the first team.
According to Article 83 of the FSCG Disciplinary Rules, the punishment for such a violation could have been higher - suspension for 12 games or up to six months.
