Having just returned from the injury, which he received last month in the match against Bulgaria in the jersey of the national team of Montenegro, Stefan Savić left the Athletic training earlier this morning and headed to the dressing room in the company of a physiotherapist.
The Montenegrin footballer recently recovered from a muscle injury, started working with the team, but felt pain again and is now awaiting a diagnosis from the Madrid club's medical team.
Savić has already taken a break five times this year (once due to Achilles tendon, and four times due to muscles), which is why he missed 16 matches of Athletics...
In the qualifiers for EURO 2020, he appeared only twice for Montenegro - he played 90 minutes against England and 39 minutes against Bulgaria.
