The streak of four matches without a win was ended by Rudar on Sunday against a team that has not known a triumph for two and a half months.
Under Golubinja, Pjevlja defeated Kom 3:2 and escaped with a plus three - they have 18 points, which at the moment is enough to be above the line and the barrage zone for survival.
- We missed two penalties, despite that we scored three goals in the first half, we could have had a few more... Later Kom went on the attack, quickly reduced the score to 3:1 at the beginning of the second half and the game opened up. However, we deserved the triumph, which is very important for the standings - said left back Ermin Seratlić, who played 13 of Rudar's 14 league games this season.
The problems that Edis Mulalić's team had in the preseason are known. For a long time it was uncertain whether they would compete in the First League, the team was assembled a few days before the start of the championship... That's why the record of five triumphs, three draws and nine defeats cannot be characterized as bad.
- In some games we were unlucky, then in others that luck returned to us, but maybe we could have had a few more points. However, as everything looked this summer, when we entered the season practically without preparation, we have to be satisfied with 18 points at the moment. It was seen in some games that we lack freshness, it is not only a physical problem, but also a mental problem, but we will endure - Seratlić is clear.
Until the end of 2019, Rudar have two more games to play. The first is especially important - on Thursday against Petrovac pod Mali brdom, which is a direct duel for survival, because the team from Pljevlja currently has a point more. Then, on the weekend, the "miners" visit Budućnosti, where they are realistically underdogs.
- That match in Petrovac is very important. We're going for the win, but we wouldn't be satisfied with a draw either. Every point means - concluded Seratlić.
