Scandal in Spain - the match between Rajo Valjecano and Albasete was interrupted due to the chanting of the home team's fans at the visiting striker Ukrainian Roman Zozulja.
The song was heard repeatedly from the stands:
"Zozulja, you're a... Nazi", when the referee decided to stop the match.
When they saw that the duel would not continue, the Raj fans sang "It's all a joke", but it was too late...
"Roman is in shock, crying," said the vice-president of Albasete.
In January 2017, Zozulja came from Betis to Rayo, from where the fans - left-leaning - literally expelled him after less than 30 days and without playing a game, accusing him of having Nazi attitudes.
During the conflict in Ukraine, Zozulja publicly supported the Ukrainian army in the fight against the Russian, in the conflicts in the east of the country, he visited several times the soldiers who fought against the pro-Russian forces in Donbass and Lugansk.
He also donated money to foundations that take care of the families of war victims.
He has repeatedly denied that he supports the neo-Nazi movement, saying that he is only a Ukrainian patriot. He also denied that he supports the ideas of Stepan Bandera, who collaborated with the Nazis at the beginning and end of World War II, and in the meantime spent three years in concentration camps...
In the suburbs of Madrid, even two years later, they did not accept Zozulja's explanations...
