"Millionaires" faster than giants: Haaland signed for Borussia, Raioli commission of 15 million

And everyone was excited - the young Norwegian signed for Borussia Dortmund, who paid 21 million euros to Austrian Salzburg.

However, Borussia didn't spend only the mentioned 21 million, but another 25, because it owed 15 to manager Mino Raiola as a bonus, and another 10 to Erling's father.

"Millionaires" announced the news on their official website and announced that Haaland will play at "Signal Iduna Park" until 2024.

Haaland will join his new team-mates on January 3 after shining in the Champions League this season.

"I immediately liked the idea of ​​coming to Borussia, to feel what it's like to play in front of 80 fans in our stadium. I can't wait," said the 19-year-old Haaland.

In the group stage, he scored eight times and is the second highest scorer behind Robert Lewandowski (10 goals).

"Apart from much richer offers, Erling chose Borussia because we presented him with a project that he believes is ideal for him. I have no doubt that this transfer will be profitable for both parties," said Borussia executive director Hans-Joachim Vacke.
