After eight months of fighting with a new injury, Stevan Jovetić is slowly getting back into rhythm, and - most importantly - they expect a lot from him in Monaco.
Jovetic played 79 minutes in the French Cup, against the third division Saint Privet, after previously coming off the bench for three games, with PSG, Rems and Lille.
"I've known Jovetic for a long time, even when he played in Fiorentina, and I was an assistant in Roma," recalled Monaco coach Robert Moreno, who worked with Luis Enrique in Rome.
"He is a great player, who was just unlucky with injuries. He has exceptional qualities, he is different from the others and has the ability to be an advantage for us," said the Spaniard.
Jovetić was also the captain in the match with Saint Privet, which is also a sign of how much the club and the coaching staff have confidence in him.
