The fans of Bari made a real ambush for the fans of Leće, who were going to Rome, for the match with Roma.
According to local media, the Barezis scattered nails (!?) on the highway, over which about 150 cars passed, including two minibuses with Leće fans.
When the vehicles lost control, there was an attack by outnumbered Bari fans, who were armed with sticks, and according to some information, they also had knives.
Several Leće fans were seriously injured, and one minibus was set on fire.
After the serious incident, Bari spoke out, dissociating himself from the actions of the fans.
"We deeply regret everything and sympathize with Leće and the Leće fans," the club announced.
Leće also announced.
"Leće expresses concern and support for our fans, the victims of the cowardly ambush that happened this morning. We ask the authorities for an immediate reaction," the club said.
