It may be too late for Atletico Madrid, but Diego Simeone wants to try - Luis Suarez is the target, according to ESPN.
The Uruguayan is leaving Barcelona, probably for Juventus, although the transfer is still questionable as Suarez has yet to obtain an Italian passport.
ESPN reports that Atlético even offered Suarez better conditions than those prepared by Juve, so now the decision is up to the experienced footballer.
If he goes to Serie A, Suarez will sign a two-year contract with the "old lady" and should have a salary of 12 million per season (10 plus two bonuses).
