Leo Messi barely stayed in Barcelona, and after Ronald Koeman's press conference today, the front might open again.
If what is being said behind the scenes in world football circles is true - that Messi is the "boss" in the club and the dressing room, and not only on the field - he will surely not like this sentence:
"Messi's games could be better," said Koeman.
On Saturday, Barcelona lost to Getafe away from home, and Messi was pale, although with justification - he played for Argentina in the South American qualifiers for the World Cup, practically from a plane and came to the game in La Paz from 3.500 thousand meters above sea level.
"He could do better, but he is happy, trains well, wants to play, I have no objections," Koeman corrected himself.
On Tuesday against Ferencvaros, Barcelona begins a new story in the Champions League, after several shocking eliminations from Roma, Liverpool, and especially Bayern in August (8:2 for the Bavarians).
"I don't know what happened in the Champions League, because I wasn't there. If something like that happens again, then I'll know the answer," Koeman said.
