The young football team of Montenegro finished the qualification for the European Championship as the last in the group!
The historically weakest result and the lowest point were achieved in the competition of one superpower - Spain, but also North Macedonia, Israel and Kazakhstan, and in front of our selection are the Faroe Islands.
Today, in the last match, Montenegro lost to the Macedonians in Skopje (2:1), and the last place was handed to them by Farani, who celebrated against Kazakhstan away from home (3:2).
Out of a possible 30, the team led by Miodrag Vukotić won only seven points - they beat the Faroe Islands at home and Kazakhstan away, and drew with Israel on the sidelines.
In the last match of this "dark" qualification cycle, the players who will play in the next period got their chance, nothing has changed...
The Macedonians led 2:0, with goals from Đorđijevski in the 13th minute and Miovski in the 77th minute from the penalty spot, and Nikola Krstović reduced the score four minutes before the end of the match.
