The penultimate round of the autumn part of the championship continues today in the Telekom 1st CFL. The last round is on Sunday, after which there will only be the remaining match between Petrovac and Budućnost, and then there will be an almost two-month winter break.
The derby of today's 18th round is in Golubovci, where Budućnost against Zeta will try to achieve the eighth consecutive victory in the championship, perhaps to further increase the points advantage in the table, which now, with a game less, amounts to 12 points.
Zeta, however, is an unpleasant rival for Buducnost, as evidenced by the fact that in the last seven duels between themselves, they resisted the favorite four times, and managed to win twice.
The previous duel between the current and first champions, on October 17, ended before the end, as the Zeta players left the field in the 79th minute, dissatisfied with the referee's decisions, with the home team leading 1:0. The match was registered 3:0 for Budućnost, and Zeta was punished by deducting two points.
- We have a difficult and tough game ahead of us. Every match with Zeta lately has brought some uncertainty, especially the last one when the rival played well. We respect Zeta, we know its quality, but I expect us to play well - to be motivated, to strive throughout the match and to score three new points - said Budućnost midfielder Miloš Raičković.
Zeta is undefeated in the last three matches, in which it recorded two victories and shares the third place with Sutjeska and Podgorica, despite the two points taken away.
- We have two more matches left until the end of the half-season, and against Buducnosti is the most difficult task. A real test to see where we are right now. Bubućnost is in the best shape in the league, has great quality individually and collectively, and the table proves their supremacy - said Zeta coach Dejan Roganović, who points out that the question of the champion is "almost resolved".
- The only thing that is certain is the question of the champion, everything else is open. The fight for Europe is interesting, there are many candidates, and we are one of them.
Dečić will host Petrovac and will try to return with victories, after the defeat against Podgorica and a draw with OFK Titograd. Coach Edis Mulalić cannot count on one of the most important football players, the injured attacker Kristijan Vuljaj.
- We will not be fooled by the fact that Petrovac is last in the table, they have quality and can handle anyone. However, we only think about winning - said Decic's goalkeeper Damir Ljuljanović.
And Sutjeska has stabilized its form, it has not been defeated in the championship since the arrival of Miljan Radović on the coaching bench, in four matches it has achieved two wins and a draw, with the fact that it has been away three times.
Today, the side of Bistrica will try to beat OFK Titograd.
- The quality of the league is uniform, whoever you play with, you cannot claim that they will easily win you the match. We go game by game, Titograd is a good team, but I think we have the strength and knowledge to win - said Radović.
In the first round of the championship in Podgorica it was 1:1.
- The end of the half-season is approaching, we have two matches left until the end at home, against OFK Titograd and Petrovac, with all due respect to our rivals, I believe we are ready to win six points - points out the young Sutjeska midfielder Nikola Janjić.
Jezero and Iskra will be rivals in Berane, while Rudar and Podgorica will play in Pljevlja. Pljeval football players, left alone to fight on the field, without the support of the city and sponsors, will try to make another feat, even though they will be visited by a team that woke up again after a dry period - Milorad Peković's team, namely, won four points to two the last match and is in the European qualification zone.
