The former striker of several Italian clubs, who left the biggest mark in Roma, started his coaching career in "Vučica", as he led the cadets and was briefly on the bench of the first team.
After that, he managed Catania, Fiorentina, Sampdoria and, since the summer of last year, Milan.
He achieved his best results with Viola, with whom he won 4th place in Serie A twice, played in the Cup final (lost to Napoli 3:1) and reached the semi-finals of the Europa League in 2015, where, interestingly, he was kicked out Seville.
It remains to be seen whether the other information, that Montela wants to, will come true to bring Stevan Jovetić back to the "Sančes Pishuan" stadium.
The Andalusian club recently sacked Eduardo Berris due to a run of poor results, although the decision has not been met with approval as the Argentinian is battling cancer.
