As hosts in Pamplona, Osasuna was left with one player less in the eighth minute, due to the direct red card given to Ruben.
Despite this, the home team managed to take the lead in the 68th minute with a goal by Roberto Torres.
The equalizer and a point for the guests in the 75th minute was brought by Lukas Peres from the penalty spot.
Alaves is 13th in the table with 18 points, while Osasuna has 13 and is in the penultimate place - 19th.
