Fatos Bećiraj could return to Israel.
The Montenegrin representative is in negotiations with Hapoel from Tel Aviv, according to Israeli media.
Allegedly, his agent is negotiating the conditions under which he would come to Hapoel, and at the same time he is talking with the leaders of Wisla from Krakow about terminating the contract.
Hapoel wants a loan until the end of the season, and then an agreement to buy out the contract from Vistula, which Bećiraj has until 2022.
Hapoel Tel Aviv finished the first part of the season in Israel in last place, and the team scored only six goals in 15 matches.
Bećiraj spent two seasons (2018/19 and 2019/20) in the Israeli league and scored 20 goals in 54 league matches for Maccabi Netanya.
Bećiraj (32) came to Poland in July as a free agent, but failed to establish himself as a first-team player. He appeared in only ten matches in the championship, only once was a starter, he did not register among the scorers.
A few days ago, the Polish media reported that they would leave Vistula.
Polish media reported that Bećiraj wants to leave Krakow in order to play more and continue to perform for the national team of Montenegro, he is aware that without a real role in the club, his status in the national team would be threatened.
He is the record holder for the number of matches in the national team - he has 75 appearances, with ten goals, but he has a desire to continue being part of the Montenegrin national team.
12 years ago, Bećiraj shone in the Budućnosti jersey, he made a transfer to Dinamo Zagreb, where he was the top scorer of the Croatian championship.
He played in Chinese Changchun, then in Moscow and Dinamo Minsk, and in Belgian Mechelen.
