Montenegrin national team player Mirko Ivanić will not come to Crvena zvezda in January, because he is too expensive, said the director of the Serbian club Zvezdan Terzić.
"We thought about Ivanić, but we gave up. Crvena zvezda is not yet at that level to pay compensation for the player of 1,7 million euros," said Terzić.
Ivanić has one more year left on his contract with BATE Borisov, and in recent months the media has linked him to Zvezda, as reinforcements for the attack on the title and the group stage of the Champions League.
Ukrainian media also reported that Dinamo Kyiv is interested in Ivanić.
