The fiery derby in the Italian Cup ended with the victory of Inter over Milan 2:1, with Christian Eriksen's goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time.
A great end to the quarter-final match, which brought a lot of excitement on the field, and which will be remembered not only for the placement of "Nerazura" in the semi-finals, but also for the fierce clash between Zlatan Ibrahimović and Romelu Lukaku.
Inter was better from the start, but Ibrahimović scored out of nowhere to give Milan the lead in the 31st minute.
The turning point occurred in the 58th minute when Ibrahimovic received a second yellow card (he earned the first one in a clash with Lukaku), so Inter was given the opportunity to attack in a more relaxed manner.
Twenty minutes before the end, Tomori, Milan's reinforcement from Chelsea, brought down Barela, and referee Valeri, after reviewing the VAR video, pointed to the penalty, which Lukaku converted into an equaliser.
A lot of time was then lost due to the replacement of referees (Valeri was injured), ten minutes of referee compensation, and in the seventh, Eriksen gave Inter a great victory with a great free kick.
The Dane scored the first goal of the season, with that move he recalled his days at Tottenham and finally showed why he came to Inter.
