Milan football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic denied that he racially insulted Inter football player Romelu Lukaku.
The clash between Ibrahimovic and Lukaku marked last night's Italian Cup quarter-final match. The incident occurred at the end of the first half, and today some Italian media announced that the Rossoneri attacker racially insulted the Belgian.
Ibrahimović denied media allegations on Twitter.
"There is no place for racism in Zlatan's world. We are all the same race - we are all equal. We are all players, only some are better than others," Ibrahimović wrote on Twitter.
In the end, Inter won 2:1 and qualified for the semi-finals.
