The clash between Zlatan Ibrahimović and Romelu Lukaku gained a new dimension, not only football.
State Prosecutor Giuseppe Ćine has launched an investigation against Milan and Inter football players, and Judge Valeri, who refereed the match between the city rivals in the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup, will appear as a witness at the hearing.
It is being investigated whether there are elements of a criminal offense related to racism and threats, after a fierce verbal clash between two football "rocks".
At the end of the half, Ibrahimović got involved in the "clash" between Lukaku and Romagnoli, and it was heard on TV that he threw at him:
""Go do your voodoo with..., you little donkey".
The confrontation escalated as the half ended, with Lukaku attempting to engage in physical contact with Zlatan, saying:
"You want to talk about mothers? You want to talk about mothers? W... son".
The media also stated that the Belgian at one point told Ibrahimović that he would "shoot him in the head".
The Disciplinary Commission of the FS of Italy punished them with a one match suspension in the Cup competition.
