Today, Podgorica officially presented Petr Vukčević, the biggest signing in the January transfer window.
He was presented by sports director Vojo Pejović.
The recent youth representative and football player of Budućnost, who left the champions because he wants minutes in his natural position - in the midfield, expects a good period at the "DG Arena".
"I am very happy that I came to a club like Podgorica," says Vukčević, who also knows coach Milorad Peković well, with whom he worked in the youth national team of Montenegro.
"We worked together for a year and a half, I was also the captain of that selection and I know all his requirements. I also know a lot of Podgorica players, I can say that this is a real group. We believe that we can do something big," Vukčević added.
Podgorica finished the autumn half-season in 4th place, with three points less than the third-placed Sutjeska, four less than the second-placed Dečić.
"I believe we can make it to the European stage. It would be fantastic for such a young club like Podgorica".
Vukčević spent a good period under Gorica.
"I wore the blue and white jersey for three years and a lot of nice things happened to me. I made my debut, not only in the First League, but also on the international scene, I learned a lot from older and more experienced players."
