The Belgian football players drew last night with the Czech Republic in the second round of World Cup qualifiers.
The derby match of Group E ended 1:1 - the Czechs took the lead with a goal by Lukaš Provod, and Romelu Lukaku scored a point for Belgium.
"We didn't manage to find our rhythm. We were often in a situation where we had to defend ourselves. The Czech Republic was good in counterattacks. We had some good chances, we didn't use them all and I think a draw is a fair result," said the Belgium coach after the match. Roberto Martinez.
The coach of the Czech Republic, Jaroslav Šilhavi, was satisfied with both the result and the game.
"I'm proud. I'm satisfied with the result and the game. We created a lot of problems for one of the best teams in the world. The point is good, but we still feel a little disappointed," Šilhavi said.
