Tomorrow, the young football team of Montenegro starts the qualification for the European Championship with the obligation to repair the bad impression left by the previous generation in the last cycle.
Miodrag Vukotić's team in the last qualifiers, namely, was ranked last in group 6, winning only seven points in the competition of Spain, North Macedonia, Israel, Kazakhstan and the Faroe Islands.
The first opponent in the new beginning is Bosnia and Herzegovina today from 18:21 at the DG Arena, and our team will be weakened - Vukotić will not be on the bench due to the coronavirus, nor will his assistant Vladan Tomić, so the UXNUMX team in the duel with Bosnia and Herzegovina will be led by the youth coach selection Slobodan Drašković.
"We saw that the opponent has good things, but also bad things. However, I can freely say that they have many more virtues than flaws, but we hope for a positive outcome," said Drašković.
The first match of the new generation is important even after the poor performance in the previous qualifiers.
"We have ambitions, but a lot of things have to come together," said Drašković.
