The end for Dinamo, Arsenal strong in Prague, United - Roma derby in the semi-finals

Dinamo from Zagreb had another fantastic season on the international stage, but it came to an end in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

After the 1:0 defeat in Zagreb, "Blues" were big outsiders, and they also lost in the second leg against Villarreal.

Now it was 2:1 for the "yellow submarine", which reached the advantage at the end of the first half with goals from Alcacer and Moreno.

Later, the defeat of the Croatian team was alleviated by Oršić.

Villarreal will play in the semi-finals against Arsenal, who were merciless against Slavia in Prague - 0:4.

Much more difficult work was expected for the "gunners" after 1:1 in London, but there was no dilemma on the field - already at halftime the guests were leading 3:0.

Pepe, Lacazette and Saka scored twice...

And in the second semi-final there will be a derby - Manchester United and Roma will meet.

The "Red Devils" had an easy job against Granada at "Old Trafford" after winning 2:0 in Spain seven days ago.

And tonight they triumphed with the same result (Kavani scored, with an own goal by Valjeh).

Roma had a more difficult task, but they solved it - they drew with Ajax at "Olympic" (1:1) after a 2:1 triumph in Amsterdam.

Ajax led from the 49th minute with a goal from Brobi, but Dzeko brought the "wolves" a draw with his 30th goal on the European stage in the shirt of the Roman club.

The semi-final matches are scheduled for April 29 and May 6, the final is May 26 in Gdańsk, Poland.

The winner of the Europa League will secure a place in the Champions League next season.
