The players of Bayern are one victory away from the ninth consecutive title of German champion after they beat Bayer Leverkusen 30:2 in the 0th round at home, and Leipzig lost 2:1 away in Cologne.
Bayern secured victory in the first 13 minutes of the game. Cameroonian striker Shupo-Moting put the Bavarians in the lead, and Joshua Kimich made the final 2:0 with a precise shot from the edge of the penalty area.
With the same result, Eintracht defeated Augsburg in Frankfurt and temporarily moved into third place. In the 37th minute, Hintereger put the hosts in the lead, and in the 58th minute, Silva scored on Kostić's pass to make it 2:0. The visitors could get back into the game in the 73rd minute, but Finbogason missed the penalty.
