Bayern soccer player Robert Lewandowski returned to training with the team today, after sustaining a knee injury at the end of last month during the Polish national team's match with Andorra.
Lewandowski was out for almost 30 days, missing both legs of the Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain, in which his team was eliminated.
Hansi Flick said that he hopes that Lewandowski will be able to play on Saturday against Mainz in the Bundesliga.
The Polish striker has scored 35 goals in 25 league games this season and has a chance to break Gerd Müller's record of 40 goals scored in the 1971/72 season in the remaining four matches.
"I don't know if I can break the record, but I hope that when I come back, I will show my true level from the first minute and start scoring goals straight away," said the 32-year-old player.
On Saturday, Bayern hosts Mainz in the match of the 31st round of the Bundesliga, and with a win in that match, they could secure their ninth consecutive championship title.
