Since, on April 11, they mathematically won the title, and before today - the most important match in the season so far, the rematch of the Cup semi-finals with Zeta, Budućnost has been in quite a decline in form.
In that period, in four matches, the "blues" experienced as many as three defeats, two at home in the championship (Podgorica 1:2, Petrovac 0:2), and one in the semifinals of the Cup, against Zeta away (2:1). .
Therefore, the champion is in a bad moment ahead of today's rematch (18:90) - a double crown is a historic goal, but that goal is in jeopardy. The whole half-season, even the season of Mladen Milinković's team stops in tonight's XNUMX minutes of the tie against the team that, not so long ago, celebrated under Gorica in the championship.
- We are facing a difficult game at a not-so-best moment for us, for several reasons. As I said after the defeat against Petrovac, we are slowly on our way to spoiling all the beautiful things we have done this season - said Milinković.
Can the Future Rise?
- I hope we will succeed. It happened to us at the beginning of the season that we lost two games, even Podgorica defeated us convincingly, so we found the strength to enter the series. I hope that something similar will happen this time, that the team will overcome all problems.
Future for the final is chasing any victory without conceding a goal. Therefore, it can be 1:0, and if the result is 2:1 in favor of the home team, penalties will be taken immediately.
- We are chasing a pass, whether with a goal or more goals or after penalties, no one knows. That's why football is interesting - added the coach of the champions.
Budućnost won the title five times in independent Montenegro, won the Cup twice, but has not yet won two trophies in the same season. On the domestic scene, only Rudar managed to do that in the 2009/10 season.
- I am sure that the players will not lack motivation. We are given a chance to win the double crown and we want to do it. I know that Budućnost was twice in the game to win the double crown, it did not succeed, I hope that we will do it - says Milinković.
The champion is weakened - there will be no Luka Mirković, Igor Ivanovic is a question mark (probably he will start on the bench), with Ćuković and Sekulić absent for a long time.
- It is illusory to say how important these players are for our game, but even during the championship we played without important footballers, so we managed to overcome problems - Milinković is not looking for an alibi.
- After the draw, we said that Zeta is the toughest opponent. And we didn't say that out of courtesy. The opponent has his calculation, we have ours, I hope that we will be more skillful, happier and that we will reach the final - said Milinković at the end.

Dostanić: We have to play, not defend the result
Half-season match for Buducnost, and season match for Zeta. After a series of poor results in the championship, they came to a situation where they fear even for survival, the Cup is the only "route" of the pigeon team to Europe.
In addition, Zeta has never played in the final of the Cup in independent Montenegro, it has never even played in the final - there is a lot of symbolism ahead of today's rematch against Budućnosti, in which Ratko Dostanić's team enters with a 2:1 advantage from the first game.
- We have a difficult game ahead of us, and we are not going to defend the result, we have to play. Because it is difficult to defend against a team that is so well organized, that has shown that it is dominant even in the championship and that has individuals that make a difference - said coach Ratko Dostanić.
In the first match at Trešnjica (2:1), Zeta played one of the best matches of the season so far.
- We had a great chance in the first game, where we turned it around and could have scored the third goal. But, even if we had done that, nothing would have been finished - the coach of Zeta points out.
- We played a top match, but Budućnost can also play much better... I believe in my players, who are extra motivated and that has nothing to do with the rival - it has to do with the Cup final, with placing in Europe.
