After Lazar Mijović, Viktor Đukanović and Sava Milić, another teenager signed a professional contract with FK Budućnost.
Seventeen-year-old Aleksa Ćetković agreed to cooperate until the summer of 2024.
“I feel fantastic. I managed to make my boyhood dream come true. I worked hard throughout the season and I'm happy that the club appreciated that. Now it's up to me to work as hard as possible and help the team," said Ćetković.
The talented midfielder had a scholarship contract until now.
"It is no small thing for a young player to play in the biggest club in the country. I am happy that Bubućnost is counting on me, and I will try to justify the trust".
Aleksa trained with the first team in the previous competition year, even though he was a cadet by status, and made 14 appearances.
"I played a lot of games, had good minutes and I am satisfied with the performance in the season in which the first double crown was won. I think I've done my part well, considering I'm young. I think I had a good season in which I learned a lot."
The "Blues" are starting preparations for the new season today, on June 15 they will find out their opponent in the 1st round of Champions League qualification, and the new season in the domestic championship will most likely start in August.
"I expect only the best, let's move forward to achieve new goals and break new records. Now the focus is on Europe and I hope for the best. It is up to us to make quality preparations and be ready for the upcoming matches. It won't be easy, but I think we have the quality and can make history once again," said Aleksa Ćetković.
