Munich, the capital of Bavaria and the third largest German city (after Berlin and Hamburg) used to be proud of the Olympic Stadium.
This, until recently, an architectural wonder, built for the needs of the Olympic Games in 1972, witnessed the title of world champions of the Germans in 1974 and the European Dutch in 1988. Several Champions League finals were also played there...
Until recently, because Munich has had a new miracle for a decade and a half - it is called the "Alijanc Arena", named after the sponsor, and is located in the northern part of the city.
It was built by the Munich football clubs Bayern and Munich in 1860 for commercial, but also for football purposes, but just one year later, the much more powerful Bayern bought half of the ownership that belonged to the city rival, which fell into terrible financial problems, for 11 million.
"Aljanc Arena", with a capacity of 75 thousand seats (more in Germany is only "Westphalia" in Dortmund) is known for its "facade" of 2.874 panels that change color. The 2006 World Cup was played at that stadium, where Chelsea became European champions for the first time six years later.

Magnificent buildings, monuments, about 1.200 fountains and parks date back to the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
