Two matches of the 6th round of Telekom 1. CFL are played today, three are planned for Sunday.
The round opens with the clash between Jezera and Podgorica in Berane - it's a classic derby from the back, because the two teams are tied at the bottom with one point each, and the match is scheduled to start at 18 p.m.
An hour later, at 19 p.m., Iskra and Petrovac play in Danilovgrad. The home team lost two games and dropped to 5th place, so they will try to get back into the rhythm against the team that started the championship well and is in fourth place after six rounds.
Iskra is without a head coach - Srđa Nikić will stay at home due to the coronavirus, Milivoje Novović will command the bench.
"We welcome a very unpleasant opponent who is on the rise, but what pleases us is the game which is at an enviable level, but which due to mistakes was not followed by the results in the previous two matches", says Novović.
Iskra was defeated by Dečić at home (1:0), then by Sutjeska near Bistrica (3:1).
"I hope that those mistakes are more the result of deconcentration and that they are behind us. As in every game, we are going for the win, we want to impose our style of play and get three more points. I invite the audience to come in as many numbers as possible and to be the wind at our backs, and we will repay them with 90 minutes of merciless fight and play," added Novović.
Petrovac, in contrast to Iskra, won two games, won seven points in the last three matches...
"We are calm, in a good mood, we have confidence after good results, but we must not relax, nor should we be fooled by Iskra's two defeats, because they are an excellent team. The point is good for us, but if there is an opportunity to win, we will try to use it", says Petrovac striker Aleksandar Vujacic.
The strongest matches, including the derby round between Dečić and Sutjeska, are scheduled for Sunday.
Rudar i Mornar will be the first to take to the field tomorrow, at 17.30:2 p.m. - Pljevlja are looking for their first win of the season and will try to find it against the hit of the previous part of the season. Namely, with four wins and one loss, Barani are in the XNUMXnd position, just behind the maximum Sutjeska.
Buducnost, which recorded the second worst start in the club's CFL history, as it won only six points after five rounds, has a "zicer" under Gorica against Zeta. The team from Golubov entered the season with only a few training sessions, and with a rejuvenated team, so any result other than victory would be a real sporting disaster for the current champion.
The match under Gorica starts at 19:XNUMX.
Finally, an hour later, at 20 p.m., Dečić welcomes Sutjeska. Tuzani, who have 11 points after four rounds, will be the first to try to stop the leader, who is the maximum after five rounds and has all 15 points.
This round will be followed by a 14-day break due to the obligations of the national team, and the championship will resume on September 11.
