"Dear Slovenian friends, our love is boundless. You love me and I love you, but I have to tell you sad news, I am very sick. I am old and I am 86 years old. If I don't come soon, and I probably won't, I would use this opportunity to express my love and greet all my friends in Slovenia. I tell them to be proud of being Slovenians. You have reached the level of civilization that we Croats long for. Unfortunately, I have to say the Catholic thing - goodbye. Goodbye my dear Slovenians . I'm sorry. I'm very pessimistic," said Ćiro in an interview with the Slovenian "Sport klub.
