The President of the Football Association of Montenegro, Dejan Savićević, and the Secretary General, Momir Đurđevac, met today in Podgorica with the Acting Director of the Directorate for Sports and Youth, Dr. Marko Begović, FSCG announced.
At the meeting held in the Sports and Youth Administration, the leaders of the two institutions discussed current topics in Montenegrin football and future cooperation between the two institutions.
"It is a pleasure that we had the opportunity to talk with the acting director of the Sports and Youth Administration and exchange information that is of key importance for further cooperation. We are pleased with the readiness of the Sports and Youth Administration for dedicated work on improving the conditions for playing sports, above all of the normative framework in which Montenegrin sport functions. As the most numerous sports association in the country, through partnership and initiatives, we will make the maximum contribution to creating optimal conditions for all our athletes," said Savićević.
The Acting Director of the Sports and Youth Administration, Dr. Marko Begović, emphasized that Montenegrin athletes must be provided with maximum conditions for training and competitions.
"When we take into account the amount of energy, strength, motivation, combativeness and courage that our athletes need to present us all over the planet, what we owe them as a minimum is the connection of the sports system in Montenegro, and as the competent body for sports we can and must do that exclusively with umbrella sports organizations such as the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and sports federations, said Dr. Begović
