Current football player Dragan-Guzo Vujović made a statement in front of the Football Montenegro organization, with the aim, as he said, "to inform and warn the public about the situation in football in Montenegro".
"The majority is already familiar with the current organization and way of working of the FSCG, and the elections that were conducted at the level of all football bodies were recorded as illegal by the competent inspection bodies," announced Vujović.
"Officially, we have raised questions regarding that situation to the relevant institutions, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Directorate for Sports and Youth. For more than three months, the FSCG has been in charge of a group that was illegitimately elected at the Assembly, which, by the decision of the Sports Inspectorate, was not allowed to take place in accordance with the decisions of the main sports inspector. We asked for a reaction from the mentioned institutions, the introduction of forced administration that would organize the work in the coming period and a new election process at all levels in the FSCG," said Vujović.
"So we ask again, who protects the president and the management structure of the FSCG?"
"We asked for a reaction from the competent authorities, the ministry and the administration, but for several months now the authorities have not responded, and the results that are being achieved have long since set off a red alarm about the danger that threatens football in our country. Even the newly appointed acting director of the Administration for Sports and Youth, Mr. Begović included that his position affects the regularity of the admission of FSCG leaders, who have not yet been officially recognized by the same administration".
"Looking only at the last 10 days of football events is a sufficient indicator of the results that brought Montenegrin football to 54th place in the UEFA club football competitions, and representative football has long been in the third and fourth hat and so on... Such low-quality work in for a long period of time has led to the fact that in the future qualifications for UEFA competitions, our selections and our clubs will start from the pre-qualifications, as is already happening with the women's football selections. and in the end, the A selections are a sufficient indicator, including these qualifications for the 2022 World Cup," added the former football player of Buducnosti, Montreal and New York Cosmos, with the conclusion:
"Then again, the question is, how long will the authorities tolerate and turn a blind eye to the situation? And football workers, coaches, former players, get involved, it's the last hour to react and save Montenegrin football".
