Manchester City striker Raheem Sterling has threatened to leave the Etihad if coach Pep Guardiola does not give him more playing time.
The England representative lost his place in the starting line-up with the arrival of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for 120 million euros and is no longer the first option in the attack on the left side.
He gets his chance mostly from the bench, and that's not what he wants...
"If I don't get a chance to play more, the option to go somewhere abroad is completely open," said Sterling, whose contract with City expires in 2023.
"Football is the most important thing in my life, and from a young age I dreamed of playing somewhere outside of England, abroad. Maybe that wish will come true next summer," said Sterling, who started only one Premier League game this season.
Sterling came to City from Liverpool in 2015 and won three Premier Leagues, one FA Cup and four League Cups with the "Citizens".
