Vukčević led Petrovac this season, tonight he is the trump card of Podgorica

Telekom 1. CFL resumes tonight, after a two-week break due to national team commitments.

The eleventh round opens with the duel between Petrovac and Podgorica under Mali Brdom (18 p.m.).

Both teams tied several matches without a win (Petrovac three, Podgorica four) and tonight's match is an opportunity for one of the rivals to end the negative streak.

The guests, however, are in a much more complicated situation, they have won only five points in 10 rounds, they are in the penultimate place and have not yet won since coach Nenad Vukčević took over the team (four games).

Vukčević, however, could be the biggest asset of the team from the "DG Arena" tonight, because he sat on the Petrovac bench at the beginning of this and the entire last season, so it is clear that he knows his rival very well.

"I know Petrovac well and I expect a difficult and tough match. We got ready, I believe we worked well during the past championship break, and I had more time to get to know the team in detail. And the players had time to understand even more what I was asking of them. I hope that all this will affect better results, starting from today", said Nenad Vukčević.

Petrovac got off to a great start, and was in the European zone of the table, but only two points won in the last three matches caused them to fall to fifth position. The duel with Podgorica is therefore very important for Petrovčani and could determine the direction in which the rest of the autumn half-season will go.

"We enjoyed the break, I believe our opponent as well. They are a good team, they have good players and we should not be fooled by their penultimate place. We, on the other hand, are playing at home, victory is inevitable and we will try to take advantage of our advantages", notes Petar Vukčević, an experienced midfielder from Petrovac.

The eleventh round continues on Saturday with the duels Sutjeska - Zeta and Dečić - Jezero, and ends on Sunday with the clashes between Iskra - Rudar and Mornar - Budućnost.
