Former Montenegrin national team player Mirko Ivanić signed a new contract with Red Star until 2025.
Both last summer and this summer, there were talks about him going abroad, there were also some offers, but the 28-year-old offensive player decided to stay at the Belgrade club.
Ivanić played 15 matches for Montenegro under Ljubiša Tumbaković and scored one goal.
He left the selection in June 2019 on the eve of the match with Kosovo, and there were mentions of the possibility of returning to the team, before the start of the current qualification cycle.
