Chelsea footballers, Antonio Ridiger and Andreas Kristensen are still negotiating with the club regarding the contract extension, but in the event that an agreement is not reached, the Chelsea management has a solution, the media write today.
Ridiger and Kristensen's contracts expire at the end of the season, so they can leave as free agents in the summer. There are interested teams, but Chelsea also wants to keep the defenders in London.
However, if the continuation of cooperation does not happen, the "blue" management has a solution. The club's leaders are monitoring and, if necessary, they will try to hire Gilles Cunde and Mathais de Licht.
Kunde is a Sevilla player and was of interest to Chelsea this summer, there was speculation about his arrival in London, but no agreement was reached between the two clubs.
De Licht is bound by a contract with Juventus until 2024 and it will be difficult to realize that job.
Ridiger came to Chelsea from Roma in 2017, while Christensen, also four years ago, arrived from Mönchengladbach.
