Coaches tell Raičković: The time of silence is over, how hard is it to say no?

Gavrilo Petrović, Dejan Jelenić and Milan Radulović, coaches with a UEFA A license, once again addressed the president of the Center for the Education of Coaches (CET) of the Football Association of Montenegro, Niko Raičković.

They believe that the CET irregularly determined the candidates for the award of the PRO license, and in Raičković's letter they ask whether he allowed the president of the FSCG to impose solutions on him and whether he can "allow himself the luxury of the so-called attitude, which will lead to resentment of single-mindedness and ignorance, even if it also worked for the president of the Association".

"The Montenegrin football public is aware that we have recently approached the FSCG regarding the irregular selection of candidates for coaching training. There was no response to our announcement, so we believe it is necessary to address it more directly. Of course, who could answer our questions in a better and more well-argued way, than the head and responsible for training and selection of coaches, the director of CET, Niko Raičković.

Mr. Raickovic,

Is the "Professional Council" independent in its work, do you make decisions yourself in the candidate selection process, are you immune to pressure, "proposals and suggestions", and do you accept responsibility for your work in CET since its establishment?

Are specific names imposed on you (with which you did not agree) by your superiors from the FSCG, in this case directly by the president of the Federation?

Is it true that the President of the Expert Council did not want to sign the minutes of the session, revolted by everything that happened in the meantime, the way in which the candidates were chosen, and did you take that responsibility upon yourself as the director of CET?

Would you put your authority specifically in defense of something that, in your opinion, is not fair, realistic and promising, or would you once again, like many times before, accept someone's opinion only because it is superior to you in the hierarchy?

Mr. Raičković, you deal with the education of adults who have formed personalities, both professionally and personally. You are involved in the education of people who train someone's daughters and sons, and you need to make it easier for them to make decisions, which can often be very difficult for the athletes themselves.

We think that it would be logical that, in addition to the certain level of football knowledge that you provide us at CET, with your actions and personal example, you show how to defend the profession, your opinion and personal attitude. Because, among other things, we learn that at CET. Let's be leaders, let's not allow someone to make decisions over our jurisdiction, even if that someone is the president of FSCG!

Unfortunately, this is how you let us know that some other values ​​are a recipe for success in life, and that, in our opinion, is neither sporting, nor human, and least of all Montenegrin, Mr. Raičković!

Let's not forget that, above all, your basic vocation is a professor, a humanist, and your moral and professional values ​​must not be questioned! However, the reality was different. In this way, your actions directly influence the division in the profession, even though your role in all this should be absolutely different, i.e. you should be someone who unites, respects and homogenizes us, because only together can we get out of all this.

Since its establishment, CET was supposed to be a place where a serious level of knowledge is acquired for doing this work (this is the case everywhere in Europe). We know and are aware that your role is thankless, but you still deal with people and their selection, which in itself means that you assume responsibility for your actions. The correct selection of coaches, the level of acquired knowledge and football skills will trace their professional work in a positive or negative sense to Montenegrin football.

How successful you have been in this so far, together with the leadership of FSCG, proves the stumbling of our football in previous years!

Mr. Raičković, if UEFA through the Federation invested huge money in improving the conditions for the work of coaches and players through the improvement of infrastructure, then I guess it is also logical that some other centers within the FSCG did not do their job properly.

We believe that human potential is something that should be the basis of what is called improving the quality of football in Montenegro. Human potential, and the right people in the right places, that's the essence, everything else is just filling in the form!

Mr. Raičković, the only thing you should have done after the publication of the list was to clearly communicate to us, verbally or in writing, the reasons why we were not accepted and give guidelines on what we should fix, how to work on ourselves so that next time we can compete equally with the other candidates (we assume that this entrance test for knowledge of one of five foreign languages ​​six days after the candidate's enrollment was a decisive criterion).

The time of silence has passed, a generation of trainers has appeared who simply do not want to remain silent and who want to show you with arguments, expertise and only facts that you have sinned and that you are still sinning knowingly and with a guilty conscience.

It is very important to us that colleagues followed up on our previous statement with their arguments, and you should know that there are many more who support everything written here, but for some reason do not want to advertise.

We understand them in that, our Alliance is recognized for the fact that it does not tolerate different thinking from the only one at the top of the pyramid! We just wonder how difficult it is for someone (especially at your age) to say NO, because for God's sake, how can you allow yourself the luxury of an ATTITUDE that will lead to resentment of single-mindedness and ignorance, even if that was the case with the president of the Alliance?

In this way, with your actions, you directly affect our existence and that of our families, and we are forced to fight for our rights. All of this, at least as far as we are concerned, will not be talked about for the next two or three days and will be forgotten after that.

The way you imposed this on us does not allow us to forget, and what they would say at CET, we are just in the warm-up phase! And you yourself know that after the warm-up, there are four more phases of training, which, as always, we will respect and work out to the smallest detail.

Nothing personal Mr. Raičković, simply the director of CET must bear responsibility for such decisions!
