The German football club Werder Bremen fired coach Alexander Nuri today after he failed to win the first 10 games of this season.
Nuri guided Bremen to eighth in the Bundesliga last season, having taken over in September 2016 when they were bottom of the Bundesliga.
However, after 10 rounds of the Bundesliga this season, Werder is in penultimate, 17th place with five points and only three goals conceded.
Together with Nuri, his assistant Markus Fedhof left, a day after the convincing defeat with 3:0 against Augsburg in Bremen.
The team will be temporarily managed by Werder B team coach Florian Kohfeld, who will be on the bench for Friday's Bundesliga game against Eintracht.
