The champion from the Faroe Islands, former member of Klaksvikar Boris Došljak, signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with Arsenal from Tivat.
Došljak will try to help the people of Tiv to qualify for the Telekom 1st Montenegrin football league for the first time, since they finished second in the autumn of the second division.
Arsenal's website stated that it was "one of the biggest signings in the club's history".
Došljak (32) played with Zeta, Bokelj, Lovćen and Iskra in Montenegro, and abroad for Viđev Lođ from Posla, Sloboda from Užice and Klaksvikar from the Faroe Islands.
At the official presentation, the president of the club, Dejan Kandić, and the sports director, Ranko Krgović, expressed their satisfaction that an international soccer player who, in his rich career, also played in the Champions League qualifiers, is coming to the club.
They thanked Došljak who, in addition to numerous offers from our first league clubs, chose Arsenal to continue his career.
"With this initial, the club has begun to put together a mosaic for a long-term plan, which is that since this year Arsenal becomes the first division, next year it will be an equal candidate for a position that leads to European competition," it says on Arsenal's website.
